9jaGrills

Where Naija fire meets
Oakland soul.

Rising from a food truck to a full lounge, 9jaGrills brings the vibrant, unapologetic flavors of Nigeria to the heart of the Bay. Every plate carries the smoke of the grill and the warmth of home, and every night carries the pulse of a room that knows how to celebrate.

This isn't just dinner. It's suya off the coals, jollof simmered low and slow, and a lounge built for good company and better nights.

Best Nigerian food in Oakland!! I'm glad they opened a physical location. I was obsessed with their chicken suya from their food truck.

Amazing food, so flavorful. Service was excellent, highly recommended. Great family vibe, and did I mention the food was amazing?

Been here a few times now and it's always good! The goat pepper soup is rejuvenating. Food always comes super hot, which I like, and I love the hookah!

Delicious Nigerian food, great service. The owner helpfully walked us through the menu. Be sure to try the Zobo, made in-house with hibiscus, clove and ginger.
